Allison Hanna,  Golf Instructor &  LPGA Teaching Professional 

Allison's Professional Golf Career Finishes…

  • In 2010, finished T27 at Tres Marias Championship
  • In 2009, best finish was a tie for 15th at the Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill, along with a T-23rd at the L  PGA Championship, was ranked 53rd in the world by Golfweek.
  • In 2008, tied her career-low 68 in the second round of the SBS Open at Turtle Bay.

 A full-time LPGA Touring Golf Professional for 8 years, Hanna competed in 100 events on the LPGA in 7 different countries.  She competed on the LPGA for 8 seasons, playing in 3 US Women’s Open’s, 3 British Open’s and 8 LPGA Championships. 

LPGA Professional Allison Hanna has an impressive background in playing and teaching golf. She began playing golf at the age of 4, and has since achieved at every level of play.  Hanna credits Conan Elliot, the golf instructor who got her seriously interested in the game and “made it fun,” as the individual most influencing her career. As an all-around athlete (with 2 older brothers), she also enjoyed some success on the basketball court in her younger days.  Now, her hobbies include spending time with her husband and family, enjoying music, dancing, reading, watching movies, and traveling the world. 

Hanna set aside time for charity and giving back to others during her playing career; playing in over 200 charity golf outings.  From 2009-2011, She hosted her own event in Portland, Oregon called “Fork’s, Cork’s, and Wedge’s”. It raised over $95,000 for local charities.  Allison continues to support the First Tee program of Greater Portland and Vancouver by leading clinics for their LPGA girls division and most recently, in 2014, being the Master of Ceremonies for a Ladies Luncheon that helped raise over $30,000 for the program. She also hosted a corporate outing for US Bank, where she led a clinic and gave a short presentation with a Q & A section.  The exclusive event was for the Top 1% private equity division for US Bank.

 As an instructor, Allison has organized and hosted numerous clinics. Her teaching has mainly focused on the importance of the short game. She knows the importance of an excellent short game, as she was a leader on the LPGA Tour in short game statistics.   

 In her playing days, Allison worked with and learned from some of the top instructors in the world including Gary Gilchrist(Top 50 Golf Digest), Jeff Coston, Mike Adams(Top 50 Golf Digest), Mike Bender(Top 25 top golf schools Golf Magazine), Conan Elliot, and Steve McRae.
